in the top ten of most distinctive new Dutch music
composed in 2007.

Isaac will perform a new arrangement of Antonio
Lauro's 'Seis por Derecho', during a special recital
of the young star guitarist Marlon
Titre. The arrangement will feature recorder,
guitar and percussion (performed by Mr. Yuchi Cordoba).

Next masterclass: Classical
karaoke? |

On
May 24th 2008 (Rokin 111, Amsterdam), a special
music café, lasting the entire day, will
focus on music for classical instruments and electronics,
commemorating the death of Dutch composer Ton Bruynèl
10 years ago.
How to perform this music? What is the relation
between the electronics and the musician? How do
composer, performer and technician work together?
The masterclass will focus on the successful combination
of score and tape; it will also look at new developments.
In the morning, there will be a workshop by Annelie
de Man, Jorge Isaac
and Jan Panis on the performance of this music.
In the afternoon, there will be short presentations
by Hannah Bosma, Huba de Graaff, Barbara Lüneburg,
Roderik de Man, René Uijlenhoet en Jos Zwaanenburg
discussion and drinks.
